Type 1 Diabetes In Children

Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disorder in which the pancreatic cells producing insulin are damaged. These cells are not able to produce insulin resulting in High blood sugars.

Insulin is a crucial hormone that allows glucose in the blood to enter the body’s cells for energy. When insulin is deficient, glucose accumulates in the bloodstream, leading to high blood sugar, or “Hyperglycemia”.

Early symptoms of high blood sugar in Children are
